Pinfeathers is a scenario originally written by John Tynes to serve as the introductory scenario in the first edition of the Unknown Armies roleplaying game. The "multiple-choice design approach" wasn't popular among the playtesters, so it was replaced with Bill in Three Persons before the book went to print. Pinfeathers first appeared as a free download on the Atlas Games website, in PDF format. In 2002, the adventure was included (along with Bill in Three Persons) as one of two introductory scenarios in the second edition of Unknown Armies. The two versions appear to be identical.
The adventure is event-driven, and involves an Avatar of the Flying Woman trying to get a boost in power by piggy-backing on Amelia Earhart's legacy.
This game is also contained in
Unknown Armies Second Edition (2002).
