7 / 10TrippyHippyComprehensive introduction to an iconic sci-fi setting, that is nevertheless pretty generic in it's application. The rules work, it's looked pretty and it was well supported. I never had the opportunity to play the older FASA version, so I cannot make comparisons, but for what it was this was as good a game as you could make from the brand. I had no time for Star Trek until this book came out...
6 / 10owe for the fleshI liked this game, though I did not play it long enough to really get a feel for it. The random technobabble table was a thing of beauty.
