Intended for use with Kelestia Productions' HarnMaster Gold version of the HarnMaster rules, HarnMaster Gold: Shek-Pvar can be used with relatively little adaptation for use with Columbia Games' HarnMaster 2/3 products. HarnMaster Gold: Shek-Pvar is internally noted as "version 3.0" because it follows on from the magic rules originally published by Columbia Games in HarnMaster 1 (i.e., ver. 1) and then in the HarnMaster: Shek-Pvar (ver. 2), along with the latter's separate supplemental spell books. HarnMaster Gold: Shek-Pvar is a thorough re-write of the prior magic material, with significant expansions for the GM's optional use. Of note, even though a core concept of HarnMaster magic playing is to provide guidelines within which the player and/or GM can create new spells, HarnMaster Gold: Shek-Pvar includes significantly more "example" spells than in the prior publications.
