The third edition of Traveller, Traveller: TNE advanced the timeframe past the rebellion, all the way out to 1200, where the Imperium has been decimated by the Virus that was the last weapon of the Rebellion.
This newest system is now compatible with the "GDW House System" also used for Dark Conspiracy and Twilight: 2000. As such it is further from the core Traveller system than any of the older eds.
