JAGS₂ (JAGS-2 when subscripts are not available) is a version of JAGS (It's not Just Another Gaming System) with roughly half the rules, though it still doesn't qualify as a rules light game. This version eliminates the fractional math in skill costs, reduces the number of enchancements and defects, simplifies combat, and reduces the number of specialized rules. Since the two versions are largely though not completely compatible, most of the supplements are designed using the full ruleset.

JAGS₂ is available for free, including versions (minus the artwork) released under the GNU Free Documentation License. A POD softcover with a full color cover is also available.
