Game Summary

This book presents the setting of the Warhammer Fantasy Battles miniature game for roleplay use. It's a dark, gritty world. Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay takes the traditional fantasy traditions - elves, dwarves, orcs - and puts a grim twist upon them, in a world where beings battle chaos.

The game design is conventional, but guided by templates known as "careers" and in game progression is through careers. The characters are a hybrid of characteristics or attributes with binary skills. System is percentile roll under with a magic system using magic points.

The game is complete, providing the rules for characters, GM advice, the world setting and the occupants of the world (including monsters).

5 + 4Fulsrush. The RPG version of the wargame finally gets a 2nd Edition after 19 years, and they've ironed out most of the creases to produce a top quality dark and gritty fantasy game.
4 + 5jontheman. It's Grim. It's Perilous. It's also the only book you'll need for a complete and comprehensive dark fantasy roleplaying game.
