Glorantha is the gameworld of Greg Stafford, originally featured in the wargame White Bear, Red Moon and since the core of two different RPGs, RuneQuest and HeroQuest.

Though Glorantha is a fantasy world, it was one of the first to present standard fantasy tropes like elves and dwarves in original ways. It also features many original races such as ducks and broo. Much of Glorantha centers around mythology and war between the followers of gods.

There are two notable eras for RuneQuest play. The Hero Wars at the end of the Third Age is the traditional gaming setting, and was the basis for RuneQuest editions one through three, Hero Wars, and HeroQuest. The earlier Second Age is the setting for Mongoose Publishing's fourth edition of RuneQuest.
