A company best known for its Sherlock Holmes, Consulting Detective party game. They briefly entered the RPG field when Tadashi Ehara joined them in the mid 1980s, bringing with him Different Worlds magazine.

Under Ehara Sleuth quickly rolled up a number of other RPG brands, from Flying Buffalo's MSPE to Tekumel, but Ehara soon found that Sleuth's business model didn't match with his own roleplaying hopes, and so he left Sleuth to form Different World Publications, taking the RPG properties with him.

Sleuth Publications went out of business sometime thereafter.
