There have been two separate publishers operating under the name Gamelords:

The first and best known of the two was founded by Kerry Lloyd, Rich Meyer, Janet Trautvetter, and Michael Watkins, and published during the early '80s. They are fondly remembered for their Thieves' Guild game line. The company folded in 1985 and the assets were sold to former Chaosium employee Tadashi Ehara.

The second was founded by Blake Mobley, David Webb, and Anthony Pryor, and existed briefly in the early '90s, before either folding or changing their name. They published a space opera game called Metascape.
