Originally the mail order arm of Chaosium, Wizard's Attic was spun out in the late 1990s during Chaosium's Mythos-related near collapse, at which point it slowly evolved into becoming a fulfillment house. Wizard's Attic later collapsed in 2003 amidst mismanagement and the d20 crash.

Wizard's Attic published a few semi-professional manuscripts for Greg Stafford before Issaries Inc. appeared.
