Ars Magica is a game of Medieval wizardry, renowned for its in-depth magic system and for its serious look at Middle Ages Europe. It was originally designed by Jonathan Tweet and Mark Rein*Hagen and published by their Lion Rampant.

Since it has gone through three more publishers: White Wolf, Wizards of the Coast, and Atlas Games--who now publishes the Fifth Edition.
