Level five of the megadungeon The Darkness Beneath is divided by the Dark Troll Highway and features the Halfway Inn and a powerful, dreaming faerie. New monsters include the blood thumps (Utahraptor), bogbears, chasm creeps, claw maws (Veliciraptor), cryptlings, dark trolls, dread lurkers, evil roots, feral fangs, foul saplings, graeth, great bogbears, hidden-folk, living statue (mercury), pale spawn, quivering mass, stone wretch and vaettes. There are also a couple dozen NPCs and custom magic items, notes on glyph-magic, and tables of rumors and plot hooks.
