The name of the new letters column is based on a suggestion by Shawn Trudeau, slightly modified (originally, "Reaction Check"). Questions on the whereabouts of the May-June issue (delayed; released mid-July), Wizards of the Coasts' website (they discontinued support for Alternity, so they only have Action Checks from June to November of 2000), and a fan from Peru. The letter writers are only identified by their first names.
