Son of Dawn is a fantasy novel in First Quest series, which were intended to introduce younger readers to Dungeons & Dragons. The teenage Dav Curan ventures forth to find a fresh start in the Grand Dutchy of Karameikos, but becomes involved in a wizard's plot after rescuing shadow elf children.
