Lord of Tyranny is a fantasy-themed adventure module from the Ripped From the Headlines series by Aaron T. Huss.

The lands of Sarya are filled with rebellion as the townsfolk fight back after 32 years of living under an oppressive magister. A single hero has emerged to lead the people in an attempt to overthrow the tyrant, but the lord has plans of his own. During the fray outside the manor walls, the lord of Sarya makes his final move. Will the PCs find a way to stop the madness? Or will they be forced to hunt down the oppressive lord during his attempt to escape the rebellion?

Ripped From the Headlines is a series of system-less adventure modules inspired or derived from real events or stories and given a role-playing game appeal. Each adventure is meant to be played in one or two game sessions as stand-alone storylines. They can be inserted into ongoing campaigns, used as encounters in longer adventures or simply played as one-night gaming scenarios.

As Ripped From the Headlines is system-less, all stats provided are designed to be as generic and broad as possible for interpretation into actual in-game mechanics.
