Sartar Rising, volume 1. Barbarian Adventures depicts the ongoing life of the Orlanth- and Ernalda-worshipping barbarians of Sartar. It does not describe their culture (see Storm Tribe and Thunder Rebels), but instead depicts what they do.

Sections include: The Kingdom of Sartar, Player Resources, Narrator Resources, Clan Activities, and a number of short scenarios: "A Year of Chaos", "Blood Feud", and "These Women Need Help".
