The Sign of the Skull d20 system adventure is Series II, Number 15 in the Legends & Lairs Instant Adventure product line, and is designed for 4–6 characters of levels 5–7. The players are hired to track down the mysterious force that butchered the entire population of two villages. After some initial investigation, the scenario includes a showdown with several well-trained enemy units, and proof of a local lord's corruption.
